The contrast could not be greater from the former St Joseph’s convent providing home to the Order of Poor Clares, established at Lawrence Street in the 1870’s, to the newly refurbished and state of the art accommodation for mostly overseas students.

In a nod to the buildings’ former life, key elements have been retained such as arched windows and pews in the sympathetic conversion. The modern use of vinyl flooring in a traditional wood effect provides functionality together with a bright, airy homely feel.
