A brief history of success
Founded by brothers Matthew and Daniel Brown in 1996, the company soon gained a reputation amongst major contractors for quality and service, becoming Miller Construction’s “Sub-Contractor of the Year” and quickly outgrowing its original site.
In 2004, the company relocated to its own purpose built 10,000 sq. ft. premises on the outskirts of Leeds close to the main North-South and East-West communication routes. This gave Phoenix the ability to store flooring offsite and easy access to major motorway links.
In 2011 and for 3 years running, Matthew and Daniel gained an entry in “Who’s Who” under the category of ‘Britain’s Most Successful Young Entrepreneur Business Leaders’ based on the company’s growth.
To complement the company’s flooring products, in 2019 the Phoenix Tiling Division was created, delivering stunning designs using top quality tiling and experienced installers.
Leading the way
Today Phoenix flooring is one of the top ten UK commercial flooring and tiling sub-contractors, working throughout the UK with all major contractors.
Consistent quality, a secure financial base and guaranteed on-time delivery has led to Phoenix Flooring being the sub-contractor of choice for many high value contracts where security, together with health and safety is paramount, including secure military establishments and nuclear facilities.
