The Merrion Hotels’ significant extension and refurbishment project carried out by GMI Construction Ltd was designed by Garnett Netherwood to enhance and update the existing building since its closure in 2012 and provide a completely new 2 storey link building featuring Marco Pierre White’s New York Italian restaurant.

With four retail units below, the new hotel provides 134 bedrooms to the bustling, cosmopolitan Leeds City Centre, close to all amenities, yet providing a home from home experience.

Featuring Ege’s Bespoke Highline Sheet Carpet to the bedrooms, the unique design was chosen by Oliver Redfern, the hotel interior designer, together with MPW’s designer Amanda Body.
