Designed by The Fairhurst Design Group and built by Kier Construction, the Capella Building is located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus directly next to the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute and adjacent to Addenbrookes Hospital.

Over 6 storeys it has become home to the Wellcome-MRC Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, The Cambridge Institute of Therapeutic Immunology and Infectious Diseases and the Milner Therapeutics Institute.

Phoenix Flooring were chosen to supply and install vinyl flooring chosen from the Tarkett range together with Desso carpet tiles throughout the building which will now bring together 650 members of the three institutes and provide them with state-of-the-art research facilities, seminar / exhibition space and a cafe.
